You'll use this sturdy little knife a dozen times a day. A 2-3/4" L x 5/8" W blade complements the almost 5" overall length, while 3 brass cutler's pins secure the hand- friendly curly maple handle. The thick Black or Brown leather sheath includes a tough leather lanyard.

The Small French knife features a slight drop-point profile that would make an ideal neck knife or paring knife. Rather than a belt loop, the sheath for this knife features a long leather cord so that this knife can be carried around the neck. This knife may be small, but it is perfect for detailed tasks where a larger knife would be awkward.

Below are the detailed measurements of this knife. One important note: for best comfort and grip, the length of your middle finger should be similar to the circumference of the handle.

In a continuing effort to offer the work of accomplished American craftsmen, we're pleased to present the knives above and below. Plain and simple: "These knives just feel good in the hand." Their graceful blades are hand-forged from 1095 high-carbon steel and fire- etched for a "poor man's Damascus" look. And there's additional blade styling, with a fancy, pierced coil and decorative filing adorning the back of each blade. The curly maple handles are shaped for comfort. The scales have a nice, dark stain with a durable oil finish, giving each knife a nice patina finish for an overall antiqued appearance. Each knife comes with a welted, heavy leather sheath.

Small...but goid knife. Steal is hard.

This item was smaller than I expected but I misread the ad. The craftsmanship and customer service were great.

Despite it's small size it is a very well made and very functional knife. I find myself reaching for it often in my line of work. Cutting cords and sharp enough for triming leather. Back of the blade is useable for flint or mag stick fire starting. Definitely earns my bush craft stamp of approval.
